After the dim sum, we will stop at Koko Bakery for bubble tea and buy some buns for the following morning.
The following are photos taken in the past for our dim sum brunches:
The same people appearing almost the same time at the same place almost every weekend. 2nd pic:The 5 musketeers (only remaining surviving Malaysians in Cleveland...) from left: Sharmeel, Nick, Khee Thai, Chen, me.
So, it started of with just me, Khee Thai, and Chen going for dimsum during the weekends. I met Nick in the elevator in my building one day when a girl was trying to know me. Eventually, I got to know Nick instead of her (long story... not relevant here). So, Nick joined the club later, followed by Sharmeel. I met Sharmeel when we did a rotation together.
1st pic:Nick was sipping his tea thinking about last meeting's poker game. He is planning some new strategies for the 2nd round of "Cleveland DSBC Dai-di Tournament" in my house...
2nd: The friendly waitress that has a crush on one of our fellow members.
Food was good. Waitress talking... Someone listening... Mitsu-ru, a friend's brother joined us for Dimsum. He speaks english, portugese, spanish, french, and japanese, but unfortunately, not Madarin or Cantonese... or else, he could have joined the conversation with the waitress too.
Koko Bakery: The nice lady at the counter always gives us cakes and stuffs when we go to buy bubble tea...

haha.. I guess we do it almost every weekend to compensate for the feeling of missing home. I miss the taiwanese 小吃!!
做义工,不一定只有医生护士才能做。我还是比较喜欢东南亚。不如我们找些“空头”来做?
